In September 2007, Braemar College is introducing a
new and exiting program! Building on our thirteen years
of experience educating teens, we have developed a program
that draws on our record of academic excellence, experience,
and results that were carefully measured, year after
year.
This
program is unique in several ways: it provides more
than just language skills—it provides students
with an introduction to business basics, business English,
and real-world business related assignments.
This
program is only offered at Braemar’s Toronto campus.
Program Overview
The
Elite Teen English Program is designed for students
between 13 and 18 years in age. All students enrolling
in the program should have a lower intermediary or better
level of English proficiency. This requirement ensures
students possess the necessary skills to tackle every
element of the curriculum.
Course Structure
This
program consists of two classes per day, lasting for
2.5 hours each (with a short break in the middle). The
morning and afternoon classes are separated by a lunch
break, fifty minutes in duration. Academic modules are
weekly allowing students to begin any Monday.
In addition to the classes outlined above, students
meet in small seminar-style groups with an instructor,
where they are explore business concepts, business English,
and projects are assigned to students. Students complete
these projects outside class.
This
makes for a demanding, but rewarding program!
